Help hungry visitors make a decision

Chicago Fire Grill brings Chicago-style burgers, hot dogs and Italian beef to University City in San Diego. A restaurant website has a practical job: show people what they can eat, help them explore the menu and make the next step toward a visit straightforward.

We built the page structure around those tasks. The homepage introduces the food and neighborhood identity, while Menu and Visit remain prominent navigation choices. The site connects its personality to useful information instead of asking visitors to search through a presentation before finding a menu or directions.

Real food, a recognizable identity

The visual approach uses the restaurant’s actual food photography and established identity. The Breakfast in America burger introduces the homepage with a concrete example of the menu, supported by direct links to explore the food and plan a visit.

Featured items give visitors a quick starting point: Italian beef, the Breakfast in America burger and the Chicago dog each link to the relevant menu section. Food descriptions carry the restaurant’s character while helping people understand what is on offer. The photographs stay central on both desktop and mobile.

A menu with useful paths into it

A browsable menu gives visitors a place to compare choices. Homepage links lead directly to the appropriate categories, including burgers, hot dogs, and beef and sausage, so someone interested in a featured item can continue with a specific next step.

The Our Story page gives the restaurant room to explain its background without crowding the menu. Keeping the food, story and visit information in distinct pages makes the site easier to navigate and gives each page a clear purpose.

Make the visit easy to plan

The website identifies the restaurant’s University City location and brings visit information into the browsing flow. A dedicated Visit page, map directions and click-to-call links support people who need to find the restaurant or ask a question before coming over.

These actions matter particularly on a phone, where a visitor may be choosing lunch nearby. The responsive layout keeps the menu and visit routes accessible, while the navigation provides a direct telephone action. Restaurant-managed hours and menu information remain on the live restaurant pages where they can be maintained.

What we delivered

The delivered site includes a food-led homepage, organized menu, restaurant story, visit page, map directions and telephone links. It uses the existing Concentric hosting resources and adapts the presentation for desktop and mobile.

The result is an owned website with clear routes from discovering the food to planning a visit. It provides a practical foundation for local discovery and future measurement of menu, directions and telephone interactions. Those delivered capabilities are distinct from sales or traffic results, which require measurement.
